Job description

Join a team that values your expertise. OTC Fleet Services is seeking an experienced Diesel
Shop Mechanic to maintain our fleet's optimal performance. If you're dependable, skilled in diagnostics and repairs, and looking for a supportive, well-equipped shop to work in, we'd love to meet you.

Main Duties:

  • Perform preventative maintenance on light to heavy-duty trucks and equipment, both in-shop and on-site.
  • Complete DOT/State inspections and follow-up repairs
  • Diagnose and repair components: engine, transmission, electrical, and chassis
  • Use diagnostic tools, scan equipment, and road test vehicles
  • Communicate effectively with team members and manage your own tasks
  • Keep the work area clean and organized

Requirements

  • Valid CDL license
  • Your own tools for daily repairs (specialty tools provided)
  • Minimum 3 years of diesel repair experience on medium to heavy-duty vehicles
    (or equivalent certifications/education/skill level)
  • Basic computer skills for diagnostic tools and maintenance logs
