Position Overview

Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct an array of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during each procedure, ensuring clear communication throughout
• Work closely with radiologists and referring clinicians to capture high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment efficiently, ensuring any technical issues are reported promptly
• Document procedures accurately and manage patient records through our electronic medical systems

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Needed

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
