The Territory Manager is responsible for account support and sales growth for respiratory, sleep, and diabetes products and services in physician offices, hospitals, and other specialty accounts.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Develops key contacts with key accounts including hospitals, physician offices and specialty practices to develop referral relationships for focus products in accounts specializing in respiratory, sleep, and diabetes.
  • Develops relationships with Heath System decision makers to promote preferred provider partnerships.
  • Creates and maintains an account target list based on where the best opportunities are for focus product growth.
  • Monitors focus product orders to ensure referral source expectations are met in conjunction with the efforts of the operations team.
  • Acts as a liaison between the company and the patient/client, family, caregiver, physician, and other healthcare agencies and staff to promote the complete services and programs of Medical Service Company.
  • Conducts, participates, and attends educational meetings and seminars for healthcare workers, patients/clients, families, caregivers, physicians, and interested community members on areas of need to market and promote the services and programs of Medical Service Company.
  • Assists with the development of sales and marketing materials to disseminate to various referral sources and the community at large.
  • Keeps cognizant of third-party reimbursement, criteria services, equipment, services and programs offered and makes recommendations on new programs to pursue.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: College Graduate-Marketing degree preferred.
Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Physical Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years of sales related experience.
  • Customer oriented with good oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills (a team player).
  • Ability to develop, organize and coordinate marketing campaigns.
  • Normal office/clerical motor skills in addition to extensive automobile and telephone usage.
  • Must be able to perform extensive driving as required for the position
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
