Job Title: System Administrator
Job Description:
Provide general administration for servers running Microsoft Windows and UNIX-based operating systems, for the Air Force DCGS Experimental enclave (DGS-X), Langley AFB, VA. Non-daytime, weekends, and holidays shiftwork required.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform Core Service system administration for Langley AFB including, but not limited to, network storage, print services, back-up services as well as maintaining security groups, systems, and user accounts in active directory (AD)
  • Provide Tier-3 support and troubleshooting for client Windows and Linux/Unix system issues. Remotely manage, administer, and maintain Virtualization Server Suite (VSS) at all five DGS Sites
  • Update and patch Operating Systems and software on servers to maintain STIG and SCAP security compliance
  • Provide technical solutions, security documentation, and implementation plans for newly acquired systems. Coordinate/Complete CPU System Required Documents (CSRDs) and Problem Reports (PRs)

Required Qualifications:
  • Two years' experience performing core systems administration, including user accounts management using Active Directory and network storage
  • DoD 8570 certified, IAT Level II
  • One year of Linux/Unix experience
