The Arc of the Ozarks is hiring an ABA Specialist to support individuals with developmental disabilities and/or psychiatric disorders through Applied Behavior Analysis services. This role is a strong fit for a BCBA candidate who is actively pursuing certification and wants hands-on experience developing behavior support plans, collecting and analyzing data, training caregivers, and supporting meaningful skill development under the guidance of Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
As an ABA Specialist, you will use the science of Applied Behavior Analysis to reduce challenging behaviors, build essential skills, and help clients increase independence across home, community, and program settings.

What You'll Do
In this role, you will work directly with clients, caregivers, and support teams to develop, implement, and monitor behavior programming. Responsibilities include:
- Develop clear behavior goals and measurable objectives for each client
- Collect data on client behaviors, caregiver interactions, and environmental factors
- Create behavior support plans, skills acquisition programs, treatment checklists, and data collection tools
- Train caregivers and staff to implement programming accurately
- Use Microsoft Excel to graph and analyze behavior data
- Review data and make data-driven treatment recommendations
- Provide monthly updates, including graphs and summaries, to client teams
- Modify plans based on client progress, team feedback, and direct observation
- Support skill generalization and fading of supports across environments
- Participate in team meetings, client meetings, and ABA training
- Peer-review programming and contribute to high-quality interventions across the team
- Work toward BCBA certification and Missouri behavior analyst licensure while applying BCBA feedback to your work
What We're Looking For
Qualified candidates should have:
- At least 1 year of professional experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or psychiatric disorders
- Enrollment in an accredited master's program specializing in behavior analysis, education, psychology, or a related field
- Completion of a BACB-approved course sequence
- Eligibility to accrue supervised experience hours toward BCBA certification
- Active pursuit of BCBA certification
- Provisional Missouri Behavior Analyst licensure
- Completion of RBT 40-hour training and eligibility for the RBT initial competency assessment prior to starting
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and data analysis skills
