We are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to generate new business opportunities through strategic outbound prospecting. In this role, you will research prospective customers, initiate conversations with decision-makers, qualify sales opportunities, and schedule meetings for the Account Executive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Qualify prospects by identifying business needs, purchasing authority, and potential opportunities.
  • Schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives and provide detailed notes to support successful sales conversations.
  • Utilize AI-powered tools to accelerate account research, personalize messaging, and improve prospecting efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales activities, and pipeline updates.
  • Monitor prospect engagement and follow established outreach sequences to maximize response rates.
  • Ensure prospect data remains accurate and compliant with internal processes.
  • Share market insights, customer feedback, and campaign results with sales leadership to improve outreach strategies.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of experience in business development, inside sales, customer success, or another client-facing sales role.
  • Experience managing outbound prospecting activities across multiple communication channels.
  • Comfortable making cold calls, sending personalized emails, and building relationships through LinkedIn outreach.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative sales team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Salesforce or another CRM platform.
  • Familiarity with sales engagement tools such as Outreach, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, ZoomInfo, or similar platforms.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or comparable technologies within a sales workflow.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing, online search, SEO, or AI-driven customer discovery.
  • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to identify business opportunities quickly.
