Job description

Business Development Manager

OVERVIEW:

The Business Development Manager drives company revenue growth by identifying new market opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and cultivating client relationships in their divisional area locations. This includes maximizing consistent brand image, networking with new partners, sales generation, and negotiating events within the accepted company SOP with a high-level of cross-functional team collaboration. This position works directly alongside the operations and sales teams to drive revenue and ensure a top-notch brand experience both in and out of the center.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage assigned geographic territory to exceed goals and quotas, building a key, sustainable pipeline to help drive new business.
  • Report sales results weekly to direct supervisor [VP of Special Projects and Promotions].
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market and contact them through cold calls, visits, or emails.
  • Schedule tours and luncheons to showcase facility features and offers.
  • Follow up with potential guests after the tour to close contracts.
  • Prepare and present quarterly marketing performance reports.
  • Update all sales prospecting notes and client outreach activities in CRM.
  • Maintain all detailed information for potential events and leads in the CRM for the inside sales team.
  • Work cross-departmentally with sales team management and on-site Event Coordinators to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Attend high-revenue and buyout events to maintain strong guest relations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 3 years marketing experience min.
  • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving.
  • Proficient across all CRM software.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve goals and exceed quotas.
  • Strong creative writing skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Excellent time management, problem-solving, and organization skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
