The Senior Project Coordinator/Scheduler Master is responsible for the coordination and completion of project schedules in support of program PMO.

Qualifications

Desired experience:


5 or more years of direct professional experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Analyst or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.


Minimum requirements:


Accountable for the Master Schedule; coordinate the development and status updates of the many inter-dependent schedules across the project enterprise. Integrate and maintain those schedules in a master view that can be easily utilized for update purposes. Work with the Business Operations Manager to ensure the project schedules support the Earned Value Management System (EVMS).


Work with the PMO and the various project managers to ensure scheduling consistency and project management best practices are utilized for schedule development. Coordinate the PMBR team to provide updates to the ISG Integrated Master Schedule. Responsible for the coordination, and completion of project schedules in support of program PMO. Serves as the primary project scheduler and administrator responsible for the integration of multiple IT / program project schedules.


Updates change / release management activities in support of multiple projects and schedules. Assists with the development of detailed work plans, schedules, and status reports. Coordinate with Project Managers and Program Director to set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress of projects. Builds and maintains working relationships with customer, and other departments involved in the projects.


Provides assistance with the logistics and planning of PMO based project meetings. Responsible for tracking all project deliverables and project artifacts. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews all project documentation and their deliverables. Prepares reports for customer regarding status of all projects in support of Program Director and Project Managers. Participate in functional requirements, design documents and other system life-cycle documentation to meet SDLC and CMMI requirements. Assists with the preparation of time estimates and justifications for assigned tasks.Provides guidance to project personnel in resolving schedule problems. Communicate verbally and in writing functional requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences to facilitate the development of solutions. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
