Job description

Astronics-PECO designs, certifies, manufactures, and sells a wide range of products to commercial, government, and military markets throughout the world. Our highly engineered interior and structural aerospace products are supplied to the largest aircraft manufacturers and are installed in aircraft around the globe, and our military products are used in critical national defense applications. The Max-Viz enhanced visions systems (EVS) are designed and certified for use as an improvement to safety by a vast array of airplanes, helicopters, and unmanned-aerial-vehicles in the commercial, government, and military marketplace. PECO-Controls are well established temperature control devices designed for applications where high quality is a must, such as the hospitality industry, commercial cooking, and other critical applications.

We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our on-site team and support project management activities. Attention to detail is essential, as this individual will be responsible for tracking information, documentation, and schedules where accuracy directly affects production and quality outcomes. The role also requires someone who is relationship-driven and can work effectively with people across all levels of the organization, including production staff, engineers, and leadership. Because this position involves learning the technical and procedural aspects of aerospace manufacturing, candidates should be coachable, open to feedback, and willing to adapt their approach as they gain experience

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules and documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.
  • Track project deliverables and timelines to ensure milestones are met.
  • Maintain project files, databases, and documentation systems.
  • Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including team members, clients, and suppliers.
  • Assist in budget reporting.
  • Prepare project status reports and update project dashboards.
  • Identify and escalate issues or risks to project leadership for resolution.
  • Facilitate risk review meetings and maintain risk register

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
  • Associate’ degree or higher in related field, preferred
  • Knowledge of Aerospace and/or defense manufacturing, preferred
  • Knowledge of Kaizen and lean manufacturing techniques, preferred
  • Willing and able to travel for work up to 10% of the time
