Sales & Project Coordinator

Superb Flooring & Design Full Time Troy, MI

Superb Flooring & Design is looking for a Sales & Project Coordinator who lives for the deal — from the first customer conversation all the way to a signed, accurately estimated contract. This is a full-time, on‑site role built around sales and estimating: meeting with customers, measuring and scoping their spaces, building precise quotes, and closing business. You'll also keep a light hand on project coordination once a sale is signed, but your primary job is generating and winning flooring sales.

Responsibilities
  • Meet with prospective customers — on job sites and in our Troy showroom — to understand their needs and recommend the right flooring solutions.
  • Measure spaces accurately and prepare detailed, competitively priced estimates and proposals.
  • Present quotes, answer product and pricing questions, and close sales.
  • Follow up on open estimates and proactively work your pipeline to convert leads into signed contracts.
  • Track your sales activity and consistently meet or exceed personal sales targets.
  • Keep quoting and customer records accurate and current in our estimating system (RFMS experience a plus).
  • Analyze market trends and pricing to spot new sales opportunities.
  • Once a project is sold, coordinate with our installation team to hand off a clean scope, accurate materials list, and realistic timeline — ensuring the estimate holds up in the field.
  • Build long‑term relationships with customers, builders, and vendors that lead to repeat and referral business.
Requirements
  • Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets — flooring, home improvement, or construction industry strongly preferred.
  • Strong estimating and measuring skills; comfortable calculating material needs, waste factors, and job costs.
  • Experience with flooring estimating/quoting software (RFMS or similar) is a plus.
  • Confident, consultative sales approach — you can guide a customer to a decision without being pushy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for in‑home and showroom consultations.
  • Detail‑oriented: your estimates need to be accurate, since they protect both the customer's budget and our margin.
  • Able to manage a pipeline of multiple active quotes and customers at once in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits.
  • Positive, competitive, team‑oriented attitude.
Compensation
  • $50,000 base salary + commission on closed sales.
  • Earning potential tied directly to your sales performance — compensation range $100,000–$150,000/year.
Benefits
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Training & development
