Job description

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving new revenue growth through a combination of direct selling, strategic account development, and the establishment of scalable business development processes. This role serves as the companyโ€™s primary internal owner of pipeline developmentโ€”converting inbound opportunities, expanding relationships with existing customers, and proactively pursuing new business within commercial and industrial markets.

Unlike a traditional outside sales role, this position plays a central role in building structure, improving sales execution, and aligning closely with operations, safety, finance, and marketing to ensure profitable, sustainable growth. The ideal candidate is both a strong individual contributor and a builder of repeatable systems that support longโ€‘term expansion.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in industrial services, mechanical systems, manufacturing, or related fields.
  • Proven ability to generate new revenue through both inbound and outbound sales efforts.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with experience navigating complex buying environments.
  • Excellent communication, relationshipโ€‘building, and organizational skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
