JOB PURPOSE:

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Business Development Manager is a strategic partner in driving revenue, expanding market share, and cultivating lasting customer relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Build and nurture customer relationships with new and existing clients to drive retention and growth.
Create and execute customer capture strategies
Collaborate with operations to develop tailored, winning proposals that exceed client expectations.
Assist in developing RFP responses and negotiating contracts that align with company goals.
Meet or exceed targets for revenue, new customer acquisition, and profit margins.
Partner with leadership to define customer segments and execute strategies that unlock scalable growth.
Communicate tactfully, skillfully and persuasively to negotiate new and renewals with customers
Operate as a key contributor to a high-performance, cross-functional team culture built on trust, communication, positive energy, and execution

 
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 3 years of proven progressive sales experience
Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Business Administration, Communications preferred
Demonstrated track record of revenue growth and quota achievement.
Ability to work both independently and cross-functionally.
Effective interpersonal skills
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, World),
Travel 30-50% based on business needs, team support and customer requirements
