Business Development Associate (B2B Sales – Early Career)

Hometown Urgent Care & Occupational Health

Hometown Urgent Care & Occupational Health proudly serves Ohio communities with 33 clinics statewide. In addition to urgent care services, we partner directly with employers to provide occupational health solutions including drug testing, physicals, and workplace injury care.

We are expanding our employer partnerships and seeking a Business Development Associate with 1–3 years of B2B sales or prospecting experience to help grow our footprint in the local business community.

Position Overview

This is a field-based B2B sales role focused on developing relationships with employers and generating new business accounts.

We are looking for someone who already understands the fundamentals of sales — prospecting, pipeline management, follow-up, and closing — and is ready to continue building their career in a performance-driven environment.

This role carries revenue responsibility and clear activity expectations.

What You’ll Do
  • Prospect and develop new employer relationships within your assigned territory
  • Conduct outbound cold calls and in-person visits to local businesses
  • Schedule and lead meetings with HR leaders, operations managers, and business owners
  • Present occupational health services tailored to employer needs
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of new opportunities
  • Track activity, meetings, and follow-up in CRM
  • Attend networking events and represent the organization in the community
  • Close new accounts and contribute to territory growth
Why Join Hometown?
  • Established brand with strong community presence
  • Growing employer partnerships division
  • Clear growth path within business development
  • Supportive leadership and structured sales process

Requirements

What We’re Looking For
  • 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, staffing, insurance, healthcare sales, or service-based sales
  • Experience with cold calling or outbound prospecting
  • Comfortable meeting with business decision-makers
  • Familiar with CRM systems and pipeline tracking
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Professional, confident, and polished communicator

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Has early sales experience and wants more autonomy
  • Is motivated by growth and performance
  • Is ready to take ownership of a territory
  • Wants to build a long-term career in B2B sales

Benefits

Why You’ll Like Working Here

  • Hands-on training and real-world experience (no “figure it out alone” energy)
  • Supportive team that wants you to succeed
  • Clear opportunities to grow and take on more responsibility over time
  • Competitive pay: $48,000–$60,000 base + performance-based incentives
  • 401(k)
  • 401(k) matching
  • Dental insurance
  • Employee assistance program
  • Health insurance
  • Health savings account
  • Life insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Vision insurance
