Aide / Nursing Assistant - PPEC / Pediatric Day Healthcare Center

Aveanna Healthcare’s Pediatric Day Healthcare Center is a child-oriented medical PPEC facility.  We are looking for several Aides and Nursing Assistants to join our team. All hours Monday – Friday.  No weekends, nights or holidays! Our primary focus is providing nursing care, but crafts, play, and fun are all part of this job. One year of childcare or healthcare experience with children is required. If you are passionate about kids, this is an outstanding opportunity to develop specialized skills and gain experience in a fun pediatric setting.

COVID-19 Precautions:
Aveanna Healthcare has instituted strict COVID-19 protocols in addition to CDC recommendations to provide a safe and healthy environment for our employees and high-risk pediatric patients. All employees are encouraged to be vaccinated.

Qualifications for Aide / Nursing Assistant Position:  

  • One year of experience in the care of children including infants and toddlers
  • Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification (can be obtained during orientation)

  • Provide care to children ages birth to 8 years old in a developmentally appropriate center-based setting
  • Play and interact with children to promote physical and emotional development
  • Assist nursing staff with medical care
  • Participate as a vital member of our multidisciplinary team
