Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Level 2 Desktop Support / End User Support Technician to provide onsite IT support in a professional enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and experience supporting Windows desktops, laptops, printers, and end users.


Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2 desktop and end user support for hardware and software issues.
  • Configure, deploy, image, and troubleshoot desktop and laptop computers.
  • Support Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Troubleshoot printers, peripherals, docking stations, and other endpoint devices.
  • Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and basic network connectivity issues.
  • Assist with workstation deployments, hardware refreshes, and office moves.
  • Support conference room technology and peripheral devices as needed.
  • Create and update support tickets with detailed documentation.
  • Coordinate with remote support teams and escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting end users onsite.

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of Level 2 Desktop Support or End User Support experience.
  • Strong Windows 10/11 troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365.
  • Hardware break/fix and deployment experience.
  • Experience with printer and peripheral support.
  • Basic Active Directory knowledge (user accounts, password resets, group membership).
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, connectivity troubleshooting).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SCCM, Intune, or Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or another ITSM platform.
  • Experience supporting enterprise environments.


Contract Details

  • Location: Salem, VA
  • Duration: 12-month contract
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday during business hours (40 hours/week)
