Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and support cloud-based virtual desktop platforms, such as VMware Horizon, Azure Virtual Desktop, AWS Workspaces.
  • Engineer and support enterprise endpoint solutions using Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Windows Autopilot, and Microsoft 365 offerings.
  • Manage virtual desktop images, application delivery, profile management, performance optimization, and user experience improvements.
  • Leverage endpoint analytics and telemetry to proactively identify and resolve user issues.
  • Support the strategy and evolution of Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) platforms for secure access.

  • Package, deploy, patch, and maintain enterprise applications across physical and virtual desktop environments.
  • Manage endpoint compliance, operating system updates, security baselines, and application lifecycle management.
  • Serve as a Tier 3 escalation point for complex endpoint, application, Microsoft 365, and VDI issues.
  • Partner with infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver scalable, and reliable end-user computing solutions.
  • Support the deployment, administration, and governance of Microsoft Copilot and other enterprise AI solutions. Develop and support Copilot agents, workflow automations and other AI-enabled solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, procedures, and operational runbooks.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, self-service, standardization, and technology modernization.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Desktop Engineering, Endpoint Engineering, VDI Engineering, or related infrastructure role.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Experience supporting enterprise VDI platforms such as VMware Horizon, Azure Virtual Desktop, or similar solutions.
  • Strong understanding of virtual desktop architecture, image management, profile technologies, application delivery, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Entra ID, and modern endpoint management practices.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
  • Experience with enterprise application packaging, deployment, patching, and software lifecycle management.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows endpoints, Microsoft 365 applications, virtual desktops, and endpoint infrastructure.
  • Experience supporting endpoint security technologies, compliance requirements, and device management best practices.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading cloud VDI migrations or modernization initiatives.
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, agent development, Power Platform, or enterprise AI governance.
  • Experience building workflow automation using Power Automate, APIs, or AI-assisted operational tools.
  • Experience with PSADT, Patch My PC, or similar software deployment and automation platforms.
  • Experience with SCCM/MECM in co-managed or hybrid endpoint environments.
