Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for multiple Windows platforms in both physical and virtual environments (AVDs).
  • Manage and support the Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environment, including creating images, deploying VMs, and monitoring performance.
  • Maintain and update desktop images; modify SCCM task sequences as needed.
  • Package, test, and deploy new applications; manage Microsoft and 3rd-party patch deployments.
  • Develop automated solutions for deploying software packages, patches/updates, and workstation images.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd-tier technical support, including root cause and preventative analysis.
  • Act as an escalation point for Deskside Support Services and End User Computing environment.
  • Partner with Engineering teams to develop solutions and drive roadmap technology initiatives.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Autopilot deployments.
  • Manage Windows Device Management policies using Microsoft Intune.
  • Support PXE environment with 1E products and monitor alerts using CyberArk.
  • Create, maintain, and expand technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • Ensure high standards of quality, security, and compliance in all EUC operations.

Technical Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
  • 5+ years of experience as an Endpoint Operations Technician / EUC Engineer.
  • Strong expertise in SCCM administration (patch management, imaging, MSI packaging, automation).
  • Expert in Endpoint Protection Engineering and patch management (BIOS, firmware, OS, and applications).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, FsLogix, GPO, Active Directory, Intune, and PowerShell.
  • Experience with application packaging (InstallShield or equivalent).
  • Experience in software development life cycle (SDLC) methods.
  • Proficient with Windows 10/11, AD structure, and Group Policy management.
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework.
  • Scripting (PowerShell, VBScript, SQL, batch) is a strong plus.

General Qualifications:

  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a global enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process adherence, schedule attainment, and performance improvements.
  • Education Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent experience).
