Job description

Looking for a Desktop Support Technician- all 5 days onsite- Lewisville TX

Night Shifts


accepting on W2 candidates, No C2C candidates


What you will bring to the table as a Desktop Support Technician:

  • Provide desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral support
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and operating system issues
  • Support Windows and Unix/Linux environments, including virtualized infrastructure
  • Manage incidents, problems, and change requests following established IT processes
  • Document systems, troubleshooting procedures, and technical solutions
  • Support user onboarding, device deployments, and asset management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes
  • Provide day-to-day IT support within a manufacturing or production environment


Requirements:

  • 1-3+ years of Desktop Support, IT Support, or Technical Support experience
  • Experience supporting production, manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environments
  • Understanding of day-to-day operations within manufacturing facilities
  • Experience with Incident, Problem, and Change Control Management (IPCC)
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems
  • Exposure to virtual environments such as Azure, Hypervisors, or VMware
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
  • Experience with ticketing systems and end-user support
  • Ability to create technical documentation and technical procedures
  • Strong technical writing skills, including documenting systems and solutions
