Job description

Position Summary:
The intern position offers qualified individuals the unique opportunity to assist the Lee Jofa Product Development team in the NYC Design Studio. This role is onsite, expected duration up to 3 month position.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the design and development of printed and woven textiles, wallcoverings, and trimmings for high end residential interiors.
  • Find inspiration images and create mood boards.
  • Create visual presentation decks of our collections in Google Slides.
  • Cut, check, and label first production as yardage comes in.
  • Create color palettes for future textile collections.
  • Curate and update our "Best Seller" wall.
  • General studio organization.

  • Degree in Textile Design is preferred.
  • Strong color sensibility and creativity.
  • Interest in home textile design.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite is a plus.
  • Self motivated and not afraid to ask questions.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Pay range $17.00 per hour.
