What is a Design Sales job?

A Design Sales job involves selling design-related products or services, such as interior furnishings, graphic design services, or architectural solutions, to clients. They often work closely with designers and clients throughout the sales process to ensure customer satisfaction and project success. This job may also include creating presentations, preparing quotes, and maintaining client relationships.

How does a Design Sales professional typically collaborate with designers and clients during a project?

In a Design Sales role, professionals act as a bridge between clients and the creative team. They gather client requirements, communicate project goals to designers, and ensure that proposals align with both the client’s vision and the company's capabilities. Throughout the project, Design Sales professionals coordinate meetings, provide updates, and facilitate feedback loops to keep everyone aligned. This collaborative approach helps deliver solutions that satisfy client expectations while maintaining project timelines and budgets.
