Job Summary
At Art of Drawers, the designers are the lifeblood of the company. Designers conduct in-home consultation appointments with potential clients who want the advice, insight, and expertise of a designer to help them create space, maximize accessibility, and eliminate frustration within their existing cabinetry in kitchens, pantries, baths, mudrooms... anywhere cabinetry exists in the home! Our products are an everyday luxury, constructed with solid wood and guaranteed for life. 
The key quality of a successful designer is a genuine commitment to listening and helping people by educating them on the products and possibilities that make up Art of Drawers’ solutions. Designers are personable, proactive, and self-motivated. This is a part-time, contractor opportunity that can expand as far as you are willing to take it. The pay is 100% commission-based. 
 
Responsibilities 
  • Convert leads to clients by conducting in-home design appointments with company-provided and self-generated client leads.
  • Coordinate and communicate with team members and upload leads, orders, estimates, designs, and photos promptly.
  • Take client deposits.
  • Provide a platinum level of service and grow your client base.
Qualifications
  • Ability to quickly learn Art of Drawers' offerings, accurately design, measure and document solutions, and employ technology.
  • Strong organizational and oral/written professional communication skills.
  • Friendly, goal-oriented, and driven nature.
  • Previous design and/or sales experience a plus.
  • Have your own phone, computer, printer, and reliable transportation.
