Job Summary Dynamic leader responsible for personal sales, store sales goals, team leadership, operations, and customer experience at a new store opening in La Crosse, WI. This role is critical to achieving revenue goals and driving overall company growth. Key Responsibilities Guide, train, and support sales teams to improve techniques, strategies, and performance. Lead the full employee life cycle: recruitment, selection, training, development, and succession planning. Enhance employee engagement and build a positive workplace culture. Achieve or surpass store and annual operating benchmarks. Evaluate team performance and set objectives to determine effectiveness. Model the highest standards for exceeding customer expectations. Teach established sales and design processes. Sustain store profitability through P&L, financial metrics, and margins. Champion brand strategy, product knowledge, and align merchandising, pricing, and product flow with company standards. Maintain visual standards and cleanliness in employee and customer areas. Host weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings with staff. Ensure execution of existing and new systems and administrative procedures. Collaborate with support teams to achieve operational excellence. Adhere to legal and efficient accounting procedures. Plan and execute sales promotions, events, and projects to improve local market presence. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3โ5 years of retail sales emphasis in a business unit. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and financial understanding. Strong interpersonal communication, analytical abilities, goal orientation, team management, and customer service skills. Ability to work required schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Requirements Experience managing in a retail environment with a strong focus on sales. In-depth knowledge of profit and loss and advanced business acumen. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; experience building effective relationships. Supervisory Responsibilities Up to 15 direct reports. Physical Demands Lift/carry up to 50 pounds; stand for long periods; repetitive hand motions; hearing and listening; occasional sitting, walking, bending, and stooping. Requires background and drug screening. Subject to indoor environmental conditions. Compensation and Benefits Total Compensation Range: $60,000โ$95,000 per year (inclusive of base, commission, and bonus). Base Pay: $60,000 per year. Commission & Bonus: Uncapped commission on written salesโ3% on LaโZโBoy Design Sales and 2% on other sales, plus a monthly bonus up to $1,500 based on group sales goals. Weekly Hours: 40.
