Job description

JustAgame is experiencing rapid growth and we have career opportunities that are rewarding - personally and professionally. As we expand we are looking for a graphic designer who is interested in growing their skill set including the production side of Graphic Apparel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Separate artwork for a screen printing production environment.
  • Produce combined vector and raster artwork separations.
  • Produce photo-realistic separations, including half-tone blending.
  • Create print-specification documentation for samples and R&D separations (including color callouts, hit order, flashes, meshes, art placement, garment styles and colors).
  • Update sample print specification documentation and separations when necessary.
  • Check production print-specification documentation and separations if/when sample workload allows.
  • Collaborate with Sampling Department and conduct research & development (R&D).
  • Document successes and failures per separated job.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years spot channel separation / simulated process separation experience (graphics for apparel).
  • Extensive knowledge of separating artwork into individual screens, mesh counts, plastisol inks, hit orders and squeegee types.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CS.
  • Knowledge of automatic and manual screen print presses.
  • Hands-on screen print experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Spot Process, Separation Studio or other separation software and technology is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain quality of work and productivity in a fast-paced, high efficient environment with tight timelines and shifting priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail, technical documentation and organization skills.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic: able to mentor others and willing to learn.
  • Ability to problem solve spontaneously.
  • Mac/Apple based environment.
