About the Role

This is an opportunity for a CAD Design Coordinator / Senior Design Checker who wants to move beyond basic drawing review into deeper ownership of how equipment and structural systems are designed.


Youโ€™ll build strong technical expertise in the companyโ€™s products while serving as a key quality gate for design accuracy. Over time, this role expands into mentoring junior designers and helping coordinate/assign design work, becoming a trusted technical leader within the team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review and verify 2D drawings and 3D models for accuracy, fit, and compliance with standards
  • Develop a strong understanding of mechanical equipment and structural system design
  • Work in both AutoCAD (2D) and Autodesk Inventor (3D) to support design development and validation
  • Interpret customer requirements and engineering specifications
  • Maintain and update models, assemblies, BOMs, and weight calculations
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to resolve design issues
  • Support consistency in drafting and modeling standards
  • Mentor junior designers and assist with task coordination as experience grows
