As a Sr. PE, you'll be responsible for ensuring technical execution, tracking budgets, supporting scheduling and procurement, and managing communication between office and field teams. Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management
  • Assist with change orders and contract documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms under the guidance of the Project Manager.

Financial Development
  • Help track budgets and forecast costs.
  • Support subcontractor buyout and financial management efforts.

Governmental / Regulatory Compliance
  • Track and support regulatory approvals.
  • Communicate with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) to maintain compliance.

Estimating / Cost Management
  • Assist in maintaining evolving estimates and evaluating subcontractor bids.

Scheduling
  • Review and monitor project schedules.
  • Coordinate with field teams to ensure alignment with milestones.

Procurement
  • Help prepare subcontract agreements and procurement documentation.
  • Ensure strategies align with project scope and deadlines.

Construction & Quality Assurance
  • Lead the submittal process and coordinate drawing/specification reviews.
  • Track bulletins, manage work authorizations, and support Owner/Architect/Contractor (OAC) meetings.
  • Assist with closeout documents, punch list tracking, and final walkthroughs.

Education & Experience:
Preferred Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Required Experience:
  • Successful performance in a Project Engineer role with progressively increasing responsibility.
  • 3+ years of commercial construction experience with a general contractor preferred.
  • Experience supporting contract administration, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and project documentation.
  • Exposure to estimating, subcontractor coordination, buyout activities, and field operations.

Technical & Professional Competencies:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project)
  • Experience with Procore and Bluebeam
  • Strong organizational and technical coordination skills
  • Growing leadership and decision-making confidence

Pay Transparency:
The salary range for this position is $77,000-$82,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications, in accordance with applicable state pay transparency laws.
