Glengate is actively seeking team players to join our award-winning Pool & Landscape Construction division. We are landscape architects, contractors, and service providers who specialize in high-end residential properties and estates within Fairfield County, Connecticut, and Westchester County, New York. Duties include but are not limited to all aspects and phases of the design/build process. This is a high profile position requiring a self-motivated, multifaceted landscape professional with the knowledge and desire to create landscapes of exceptional quality and mechanical integrity. PMs work closely with the Construction Director, Principle Designer, and a sales/design team devoted to the premise that excellence is a starting point and every aspect of the client's experience with Glengate Company should be highlighted with raves about our service and artistry.
A Project Manager at Glengate oversees between $2.5 and 3 million dollars of landscape construction work annually, directs and schedules 3 or more construction crews, supervises subcontractors, coordinates material deliveries, corroborates monthly billings, advances the collection effort, and works closely with other departments to bring about the completion of a job.
This includes:
* Job Management: manage multiple jobs in different stages of planning and development. Comprehensive plan review, accurate job costing, in-house labor scheduling, and timesheet management.
* Site Management: works closely with Glengate's in-house labor resources, material suppliers, and subcontractors to expedite all phases of the contract.
* Subcontractor Management: coordinate, schedule, and direct subcontractors in the execution of their scopes of work.
* Billing and Collection: corroborate all client Billing Statements and vendor invoices.
* Client Relations: ultimate responsibility for client satisfaction throughout the construction period and beyond.
Qualifications:
* At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager overseeing Masonry, Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, and Landscaping construction. Should have general knowledge of pool construction, landscape masonry, lighting, grading and drainage, irrigation, carpentry structures, and plant and hardscape design.
* Proven success managing residential and/or commercial projects of $250k+
* Strong cost management skills (tracking estimated vs. actual hours, subcontractor scopes, and costs)
* Strong communication skills to work effectively with high-level clients
* Knowledge and experience with Aspire software, MS Project, and Outlook
