Job Overview

The Senior Territory Manager is accountable for driving revenue and demand for Hubbell's end-to-end solutions across the territory and vertical markets. This role operates as a trusted advisor while aggressively developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and strengthening relationships with end users, contractors, consultants and distribution partners. The Senior Territory Manager positions Hubbell Premise Wiring solutions to win specifications, influence project design, and capture market share across Enterprise, Data Center, Healthcare, Education, Financial, Industrial, Residential and other key verticals.

Primary Territory is Colorado, Utah, Wyoming. It is preferred that the candidate reside in Denver, CO or SLC, UT.

A Day In The Life
  • Manage and develop the assigned sales territory to consistently achieve and exceed growth, revenue, and market-share objectives.
  • Maintain a full schedule of customer-facing sales calls and appointments with Contractors/Integrators, End Users, Distributors, and A&E firms to drive demand, influence design, and secure project specifications.
  • Deliver formal sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical training-both internal and external-to position Hubbell Premise Wiring and Hubbell Wireless end-to-end copper and fiber solutions.
  • Train and enable distributor sales personnel to effectively sell and promote Hubbell products, while managing local inventory and supporting channel execution.
  • Develop, write, and manage territory specifications for all Hubbell Premise Wiring and Hubbell Wireless solutions, influencing projects from design through bid and award.
  • Actively engage Datacom and Electrical Contractors to support Design-Build and Competitive Bid opportunities, partnering to win projects and displace competitors.
  • Collaborate with channel and distribution sales teams to position, design, and specify Hubbell solutions at the end-user level.
  • Build, qualify, and manage a robust sales pipeline aligned with territory objectives, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Serve as the primary territory resource for customer information, including product literature, catalogs, technical documentation, drawings, and cross-reference support.
  • Communicate market intelligence, new product introductions, product changes, and sales tools through the Regional Manager to support territory execution.
  • Generate and manage pricing renewals, approvals, and contract documentation; verify accuracy of contract entries and resolve claim discrepancies with distributor partners.
  • Participate in industry trade shows, territory networking events, and collaborative sales activities to expand presence and uncover new opportunities.
  • Demonstrate leadership through disciplined territory management, strong work ethic, and consultative selling skills that earn the trust and respect of customers, partners, and peers.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of Hubbell products, solutions, and company policies, effectively communicating value to the channel and end-user customers.

  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • Five (+) years of related data communications sales and territory management experience
  • RCDD is preferred. DCDCcertification is a plus.
  • Understanding of copper/fiber/WiFi network components and design
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities through outstanding work ethic and selling skills, having earned the respect of both customers and peers.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills in all aspects of business and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills and maintain accurate account records.
  • MS Office, Salesforce and PowerBI proficient
