Assistant Project Manager Civil Engineer Jobs in Connecticut

We're seeking an Assistant Project Manager to help deliver complex construction projects across commercial, healthcare, pharmaceutical, clean room, semiconductor, and advanced manufacturing environments. • Support project execution from award through closeout.
• Assist with budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and cost tracking.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and internal teams.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
• Help maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met.
• Utilize Procore, MS Project, Sage, and Bluebeam to manage project performance.
• Support multiple projects ranging from $500K to $20M.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of construction project management or project engineering experience.
• Experience with commercial construction projects; clean room, healthcare, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or semiconductor experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, and project controls.
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and take-offs.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Procore, MS Project, Sage, or similar construction software.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilton, CT.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
