You’ll oversee entire projects, splitting your time between the office and the field to make sure they're completed correctly, on time, and on budget. Our ideal candidate will be an effective problem-solver who loves motivating people, thrives on scheduling, and is process-oriented with verifiable experience in fine custom residential, light commercial, and historic preservation. Compensation:

$90,000 - $125,000 yearly


Responsibilities:
  • Forecast monetary needs for the project and accurately manage the budget
  • Schedule construction operations and create a construction timeline to ensure project deadlines are met
  • Ensure teams work to follow all health and safety standards to prevent injuries and obstacles to project completion, and quickly report any safety regulation issues
  • Acquire the appropriate licenses and permits from the corresponding authorities and ensure construction is up to code
  • Inform key stakeholders of the status of the project by producing regular progress reports

Qualifications:
  • One year of previous experience as a construction project manager required
  • Superb leadership capability, organizational skills, time-management abilities, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building permits, blueprints, building codes, construction equipment, material resources, construction methods, and project management principles
  • Experience using construction or project management software preferred
  • Successfully completed OSHA 10-hour construction safety certification. A 30-hour certification is preferred
