Summary: 

We currently have opportunities for experienced Design Engineers to join our team in our Jupiter, FL office. Our Engineers, design, analyze, and test components of aerospace related products, with a focus on gas turbines. All Applicants will be evaluated based on prior experience and positions held. Qualified applicants will have experience that is a good fit for current and future projects.

U.S. Citizenship is required.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Organizes or participates in meetings to determine customer and team objectives.
  • Creates, analyzes, or reviews design sketches, layouts, schematics, 3D models and drawings as part of a design team.
  • Develops or reviews hand calculations and finite element models to determine temperatures, stresses and deflections, flows, pressures etc.
  • Selects or reviews raw materials and COTS hardware; develops or identifies specifications for product.
  • Interfaces with technical leads and project managers, as necessary, to ensure work is performed utilizing best practices consistent with project objectives and requirements.
  • Reports or reviews results through written and verbal communication.
  • Interfaces with customers, perform to schedule and budget requirements
  • Works with co-workers to teach and oversee less experienced engineers

Requirements (Education & Experience)

•    Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering

•    5+ years’ experience in an engineering services environment or related field

•    Depending on the discipline, 5+ years of experience using engineering software (ANSYS, NASTRAN, Fluent, CFX, NX, Catia, Solid works etc.)

•    Interpersonal skills – interface with coworkers to collaborate, assist, teach and learn.

•    Microsoft Office Products – Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.

•    Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.

•    Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
