MercyOne Iowa is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Hospitalist to join its well-established practice Des Moines.   • 1.0 FTE coverage of well-baby nursery and pediatric medical surgical unit at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center
  • Join a tight knit team of 4 Physicians
  • Flexible schedule options available
  • Volume: 2-10 patients per day
  • Shifts are a combination of in person and on-call
  • Teaching responsibilities of Residents and Medical Students

MercyOne Des Moinesis composed of 4 central/southern Iowa Hospitals totaling 875 beds and managing 16 rural Hospitals. MercyOne Children's Hospital encompasses an 8-bed PICU, 62-bed Level III NICU, a level 2 trauma 12 bed Pediatric ED, a 22-bed Medical Surgical Unit, and is supported by several subspecialties including Cardiology, Neurology, Surgery and Gastroenterology. Additionally, MercyOne Medical Center has a tertiary service of 1.5 million and its maternity care includes 15 dedicated labor suites and 40 private postpartum rooms.
