Qualifications/Requirements:
The F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO) is excited to present this advertisement for candidates to serve as our next Deputy Assistant Product Support Manager (APSM) for Propulsion. This position is the deputy for the senior logistics and sustainment leader for the F135 propulsion system, which propels the global F-35 weapon system and supports the national security needs of the US, 7 Integrated Program Partners, and 12 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customer nations.

We are seeking a candidate to serve as the Deputy Assistant Product Support Manager for the F135 propulsion system. The successful candidate, under the direction of the APSM, will be responsible for executing the product support strategy for the propulsion system. Duties and responsibilities include:
Providing subject matter expertise in developing and implementing a comprehensive, outcome-based product support strategy.
Translating operational requirements into a logistics sustainment strategy for all customers of the F135 engine system.
Advising on innovative support concepts to minimize costs and increase aircraft availability.
Overseeing Integrated Product Support (IPS) acquisition planning and execution, including schedule, technical, and fiscal management.
Qualification Summary:
U.S. Citizenship.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance.
This may be a designated Drug Testing Position.
This position requires travel (up to 25%).
Position requires the candidate to obtain Advanced APDP Life Cycle Logistics Certification within 48 months.
Candidate must be knowledgeable of propulsion systems life cycle, including logistics support.
Candidate must possess superior written and oral communication skills and be capable of presenting complex subject matter to senior leader audiences across the DoD and industry.
Candidate is required to file an OGE 450, Financial Disclosure Form.
Full time telework or remote telework is not authorized for this position.
Situational telework will be authorized on case-by-case basis according to organizational internal policies.
Candidate must have 52 weeks in lower grade to be considered for the position-Candidate may be considered for more than one position.
Candidate is required to complete 80 Continuous Learning Points (CLP) every 24 months-Position may be subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY) away from home station (up to 25%).
Candidates may be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours to include evenings and weekends and may be subject to recall to meet mission requirements.
PCS expenses if authorized will be paid IAW JTR and Air Force Regulations.
