Foreclosure Hearing Coordinator

Fort Lauderdale, FL or any of our Florida offices

About the Opportunity

Kelley Kronenberg is seeking an experienced Foreclosure Hearing Coordinator to provide scheduling support to attorneys in our high-volume Florida mortgage foreclosure practice. This role coordinates and schedules foreclosure hearings, court appearances, depositions, and mediations, and prepares Notices of Hearing and Notices of Deposition.

We are looking for a highly organized professional with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule foreclosure hearings, court appearances, depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedings
  • Communicate and coordinate with judicial assistants, opposing counsel, clients, and court personnel to secure hearing dates and resolve scheduling conflicts
  • Prepare, review, and process legal documents, including Notices of Hearing, Notices of Deposition, and related court filings
  • Electronically file (e-file) pleadings and legal documents in accordance with court rules and deadlines
  • Maintain attorney calendars, monitor court dockets, and track critical case deadlines to ensure timely case progression
  • Update client systems and the internal case management system with confirmed hearing dates
  • Maintain accurate case files and organize legal documents, correspondence, and court records
  • Perform quality control by reviewing documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with court requirements
  • Identify scheduling conflicts and proactively resolve issues to support efficient case management
  • Assist with document management, including scanning, copying, faxing, and electronic file maintenance
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to firm policies and ethical standards
  • Perform additional administrative and practice-area-specific duties as assigned by attorneys and paralegals

Required Education & Experience

  • 2 years of related legal, foreclosure, or litigation support experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2 years of experience setting hearings throughout the State of Florida
  • 2 or more years of experience with mortgage client systems a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (required)
  • Experience with document and records management systems (preferred)
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask while managing competing priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a client-service mindset
