Job description

Overview

This is a hybrid role (after the initial training period), with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office. We are looking for candidates who live within a commutable drivable distance to our Raleigh, NC.

The Operations Compliance Processor within CIS Operations is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and maintenance of customer and account information while supporting compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and operational

standards. This role performs a variety of account maintenance, data validation, and compliance-related activities to support Deposit Operations and ensure the timely and accurate processing of customer requests.

The Operations Compliance Processor plays a key role in maintaining data quality, supporting audits and regulatory reviews, identifying and resolving exceptions, and ensuring a high level of service for internal business partners and branch associates.


Responsibilities & Qualifications

Account Maintenance & Processing

  • Process customer and account maintenance requests accurately and within established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Review and update customer and account information within core banking systems.
  • Process account changes, closures, profile updates, and other operational requests.
  • Ensure all requests are supported by appropriate documentation and approvals.

Data Integrity & Quality Control

  • Review account and customer data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify, research, and resolve data discrepancies and exceptions.
  • Perform quality control reviews and participate in data validation activities.
  • Support initiatives focused on improving data quality and operational efficiency.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support FDIC 370, CIS operations compliance, and data governance initiatives.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation, research, and responses to auditor inquiries.
  • Identify potential control gaps and escalate issues as appropriate.

Reporting & Operational Support

  • Review and monitor operational and compliance reports.
  • Research exceptions and provide timely resolutions.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting activities.
  • Support department projects, system implementations, and process enhancements.

Customer & Business Partner Support

  • Provide operational support to branch personnel and internal business partners.
  • Respond to inquiries related to customer and account maintenance activities.
  • Maintain a high level of service and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Communicate effectively regarding processing requirements, exceptions, and status updates.
