Who are you?

You’re detail-oriented, organized, and enjoy working with the systems and processes that keep banking transactions moving accurately and efficiently. At C&N, we’re seeking a Deposit Operations Specialist I with a primary focus on deposit and payment processing and digital banking support

In this role, you’ll process and monitor ACH files and wire transfers while supporting consumer and business digital banking services, including Remote Deposit Capture and Positive Pay. You’ll also research issues, complete reconciliations, and provide support to customers and branch teammates. If you enjoy working with detailed information, troubleshooting problems, and learning banking technology, this could be a great opportunity for you.

You could be responsible for:

  1. Deposit & Payment Processing: Process and monitor ACH files, wire transfers, account activity, and other deposit-related transactions accurately and within established timeframes.     

  2.  Digital Banking Support: Support consumer and business digital banking products, including enrollments, Remote Deposit Capture, Positive Pay, reporting, reconciliations, and troubleshooting.  

  3.  Research & Problem Solving: Research transaction, account, and digital banking issues; resolve discrepancies; and provide timely support to customers and branch teammates.

  4. Deposit Operations Support: Assist with additional Deposit Operations functions and maintain working knowledge of the department’s products, systems, policies, and procedures.  

  5.  Customer Service Excellence: Exemplify C&N’s Customer Service Standards in every interaction.

Requirements:

You will need a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) AND 1-2 years of previous related experience and/or training OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Upon successful completion of your training requirements with our Deposit Operations Team in Wellsboro, PA, you may be approved to transition to working from another C&N branch location. The required training length will be dependent on the chosen candidate's prior experience and/or learning aptitude.
