Description
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Deployment Lead/PM to manage and coordinate key project activities, including Legacy System Remediation, Deployment/Cutover Coordination, Testing Coordination, and alignment with PMO governance. This role requires a strong leader with experience in complex project management, particularly in large-scale system implementations.

Key Responsibilities:
Deployment/Cutover Coordination:

โ€ข Work closely with IT Project Managers, Business Process Owners, SI partner, and client stakeholders to execute pre-cutover, cutover, and post-cutover activities.
โ€ข Provide strategy, approach, checklists, and planning to ensure successful new system delivery.
โ€ข Develop detailed cutover checklists and project plans incorporating both technical and operational tasks.
โ€ข Create and maintain the deployment plan as per project and PMO governance or standards.
โ€ข Ensure that deployments are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
โ€ข Manage detailed project deliverables for cutover and conversion, resolving discrepancies or process issues.
โ€ข Ensure successful planning and execution of integrated release cutover activities.
โ€ข Prepare, manage, and execute resource management per resource planning, ensuring readiness for cutover activities.
โ€ข Develop communication and escalation plans, including policies, procedures, and downtime processes.
โ€ข Provide status reporting to project leadership and key stakeholders.
โ€ข Lead cutover/deployment activities and key deployment deliverables for Pre-Go-Live, Go-Live, and Post Go-Live phases.
โ€ข Manage PMO governance deliverables and output related to deployment and Go-live.
โ€ข Coordinate with stakeholders, developers, testers, and support teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of solutions.
โ€ข Collaborate with client stakeholders to create and manage cutover task list/plan and activities for each impacted workstream or legacy system.
โ€ข Create, manage, and execute Go/No-Go checklist and meetings.
โ€ข Align blackout, cutover and deployment times with integration systems.
โ€ข Bring experience from at least 1 or 2 global SAP implementations, specifically in deployment management.
Testing Coordination:
โ€ข Coordinate testing activities across multiple teams, ensuring all testing phases are completed on time and meet quality standards.
โ€ข Coordinate extracts, documents and resources that will be needed for testing in the project.
โ€ข Develop, maintain, and track comprehensive test plans/deliverables, schedules, and tracking mechanisms.
โ€ข Coordinate all integration and SIT testing between legacy system owners to completion or sign off.
โ€ข Manage and track PMO governance deliverables per client IT PMO governance process.
โ€ข Facilitate communication between development teams, testers, and business stakeholders to resolve issues quickly.
โ€ข Must have experience with managing 40+ stakeholders and any given time.
Legacy Remediation Coordination:
โ€ข Oversee the identification and remediation of legacy systems, ensuring smooth integration or decommissioning.
โ€ข Work with IT leads and technical teams to manage data migration, system compatibility, and legacy system retirement.
โ€ข Develop remediation plans and issue tracker for all legacy issues, ensuring all issues are resolved prior to cutover.
โ€ข Provide regular and accurate reports on the status and progress of legacy projects.
โ€ข Ensure compliance with company standards and best practices for legacy projects.
PMO Activities:
โ€ข Support the Project Management Office (PMO) with project planning, tracking, and reporting.
โ€ข Assist in the development and implementation of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
โ€ข Ensure alignment of project objectives with overall business goals and provide regular updates to senior management.
โ€ข Manage Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes and deliverables in ServiceNow (SNOW) system.

Requirements:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
โ€ข At least 6-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in IT software development
โ€ข Strong knowledge of legacy systems remediation and deployment management
โ€ข Strong knowledge of use of the ADO system (strong recommendation)
โ€ข Strong coordination skills, working with a large stakeholder group, and senior leadership.
โ€ข Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
โ€ข Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
โ€ข Strong knowledge of SAP S/4 Hana system (preferred)
โ€ข Must have experience with managing 40 โ€“ 50+ stakeholders and any given time.
โ€ข Strong deliverable management and leadership and communication skills.
โ€ข Change management experience is recommended
