Job description

Primary role will be to provide operational, administrative, and technical support for a large-scale SD-WAN deployment project, working closely with the Project Manager, telecommunications vendors, and field technicians to ensure successful network implementations across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the SD-WAN Project Manager in coordinating project activities, schedules, and deployment milestones.
  • Coordinate site surveys, equipment relocations, and installation activities with telecommunications providers (Bell and Rogers) and ITFS field technicians.
  • Contact Bell and Rogers technicians to confirm installation dates and times, coordinate scheduling with ITFS technicians, and provide technician contact information to facilitate successful site installations.
  • Maintain and update project documentation, including installation master lists, circuit details, and other project tracking records.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards to provide project status reporting and progress tracking.
  • Troubleshoot site-specific deployment and connectivity issues, identify root causes, and engage the appropriate internal teams, vendors, or service providers for resolution.
  • Act as a liaison between project stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to facilitate communication and issue resolution.
  • Track and manage circuit information, installation schedules, and deployment dependencies to support timely project delivery.
  • Provide regular status updates and reporting to project leadership and stakeholders
  • Pending availability, support other projects in the Technology Planning team portfolio
