Job description

Job Summary:
The Sales Department Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of vehicles, documents, and occasionally customers for Portsmouth Ford. This role supports the dealership's sales operations by ensuring vehicles are moved efficiently between locations, to customers, or for service needs, while providing excellent customer service and maintaining dealership standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport vehicles to and from auction sites, other dealerships, body shops, and detail centers.
  • Pick up and deliver vehicles to customers or between Portsmouth Ford locations.
  • Assist with dealership lot organization, including vehicle placement and display.
  • Support the sales team with errands such as registration drop-offs, plate pick-ups, and document delivery.
  • Follow all safety and traffic regulations during transport.
  • Report any vehicle damage or mechanical issues promptly to management.
Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation:
  • $20/hour - 20-40 hour work week
