Job Title: Dental Front Desk Coordinator (Pediatric Dental Office)
Location: 1300 Thornton St. Fredericksburg, VA 22401
Job Type: Full-Time - Mon-Friday 7:30 to 3:30 pm
About Us:
We are a busy, fast-paced pediatric dental office dedicated to providing exceptional care in a friendly, welcoming environment for children and their families.
We are seeking a highly organized, energetic, and dependable Dental Front Desk Coordinator who thrives in a fast-moving setting and is committed to delivering outstanding customer service. This person will be part of a 4 person front desk team.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have prior dental front desk experience and the ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. This role requires someone who can keep up with a high patient volume, stay organized under pressure, and contribute to a positive patient experience from check-in to check-out.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments to maintain a full and productive schedule.
  • Greet patients and families, and handle check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
  • Collect co-payments, outstanding balances, and process payments accurately.
  • Handle appointment reminders, follow-ups, and recall systems.
  • Manage correspondence, emails, and office communication.
  • Assist with treatment plan presentation and financial discussions when needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment.
  • Ensure compliance with office policies and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working at a dental front desk (required).
  • Experience in a pediatric dental setting (preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
