Responsibilities

The Receptionist provides customer service and administrative support for the corporate office. 

This position is Part-time, Monday - Friday with flexible day-shift hours.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Answer incoming phone calls, email, and faxes and channel them to the appropriate party 
  • Provide logistical support and coordinator for guests and visitors, including directions and meeting area preparation. 
  • Welcome, direct and check-in visitors and deliveries. 
  • Maintain security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges. 
  • Maintain cleanliness in the front reception area and lobby. 
  • Assist internal customers with facility related needs, including office supply requests and repairs. 
  • Maintain updated facility contact lists.

  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

Education / Training 

  • Education and/or experience equivalent to 3-5 years of office-based reception/customer service. 

 Work Experience / Skills

  • Able to actively listen and demonstrate empathy. 
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • “Can do” attitude and demonstrated commitment to get the job done. 
  • Reliable and dependable. 
  • Friendly and helpful demeanor. 
  • Able to read, write and communicate effectively and professionally.  
  • Able to present information and respond to questions from peers, managers, clients, customers, and the general public in a courteous and helpful manner.
