Job description

Summary

A growing commercial plumbing contractor is seeking a Plumbing Estimator / Project Manager to support fast-paced tenant improvement (TI) projects across tech, medical, and commercial interiors.

This role is responsible for handling projects from pricing through closeout, working closely with general contractors, field teams, and clients. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple TI projects at once and understands the speed and coordination required in interior construction environments.


Key Responsibilities

Estimating

  • Review drawings and specifications for commercial TI projects
  • Perform material and labor takeoffs
  • Prepare detailed and competitive estimates
  • Solicit and evaluate vendor and supplier pricing
  • Develop proposals, scope clarifications, and revisions

Project Management

  • Manage plumbing projects from startup through completion
  • Coordinate schedules, manpower, and material deliveries
  • Track job costs, labor productivity, and project budgets
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Attend jobsite and coordination meetings
  • Maintain communication with GCs, owners, and field teams
  • Ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards
