Chalmers Dental, the Official Dental Office of the Sacramento Kings, is seeking an experienced Dental Practice Manager to join our well-established, thriving practice in Sacramento, CA. We are looking for a motivated, positive, and patient-focused leader who is passionate about creating an exceptional patient experience while driving operational excellence.

What You'll Do

As our Dental Practice Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice while supporting both our clinical and administrative teams. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the daily clinical and business operations of the practice by ensuring office policies, procedures, and protocols are consistently followed.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable and maintain healthy collections.
  • Present treatment plans, explain financial policies, and discuss payment options with patients.
  • Process and manage dental insurance claims.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and implement solutions that increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and all applicable safety standards.
  • Lead daily huddles, team meetings, and staff training sessions.
  • Audit provider schedules, identify scheduling opportunities, and work with the team to maximize productivity.
  • Manage schedule templates and make adjustments based on patient demand and practice needs.
  • Monitor unscheduled treatment reports and ensure timely patient follow-up.
  • Motivate and coach the team to achieve daily production and performance goals.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and ongoing coaching to support employee growth.
  • Perform additional administrative and leadership responsibilities as needed.
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of dental office management or leadership experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in multiple aspects of dental practice operations, including scheduling, treatment presentation, insurance, collections, and patient relations.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Availability to work Monday through Fridayย hours generally between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • A positive, patient-first attitude with a collaborative leadership style.
  • Ability to motivate a team, drive results, and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
