Familiarity with dental office management software and electronic health record (EHR) systems, along with certification like Certified Dental Coder (CDC), is highly beneficial. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective communication are key soft skills that set high performers apart. These combined abilities are essential for accurately processing claims, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting efficient dental office operations.
