Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator with a strong background in structural demolition. This role requires hands-on expertise in tearing down residential and commercial structures, managing site logistics, and maintaining equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
This is not an entry-level role. Candidates must be confident operating independently on active demolition sites.
Key Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment including excavators, skid steers, and loaders for demolition projects
  • Perform structural demolition of residential and commercial buildings
  • Execute precise demolition techniques while maintaining safety and structural control
  • Manage site logistics including material staging, debris flow, and equipment positioning
  • Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections
  • Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
  • Work closely with crew leads and project managers to execute job plans
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Assist with manual labor as needed to support crew efficiency
