What is a demolition bid?

A demolition bid is a formal proposal submitted by a contractor outlining the estimated costs, timeline, and scope of work required to demolish a structure or part of a structure. The bid usually includes details such as labor, equipment, debris removal, permits, and any specific safety measures. Property owners, developers, or project managers use demolition bids to compare contractors and select the most suitable company for the job. Accurate bids help prevent unexpected costs and ensure the demolition process complies with local regulations.
