Continental Electronics is seeking a Principal IT Business Analyst with deep Deltek Costpoint expertise to support a fast-growing, government-focused business.This senior-level role plays a strategic part in aligning enterprise systems with business objectives, serving as a trusted advisor to functional leaders while providing hands-on ERP leadership.
The ideal candidate brings advanced business analysis capabilities, strong Costpoint system administration experience, and a proven ability to lead complex initiatives in regulated environments.This role is expected to operate with minimal supervision, influence decision-making, and drive continuous improvement across enterprise processes.
Responsibilities
Strategic Business Analysis & Leadership
  • Serve as a senior liaison between business leadership and IT, aligning ERP capabilities with financial, operational, and compliance objectives
  • Lead complex requirements gathering efforts, translating strategic business needs into scalable system and process solutions
  • Provide thought leadership and guidance on best practices for ERP utilization, data integrity, and process standardization
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of business analysis standards and methodologies

Deltek Costpoint Ownership
  • Act as a senior system owner and administrator for Deltek Costpoint in a cloud-hosted environment
  • Lead configuration, optimization, and support of Costpoint modules including finance, projects, contracts, HR, payroll, timekeeping, materials, and manufacturing
  • Oversee administration and integration of supporting modules such as Shop Floor Time, TIP/QA, and RFGen
  • Advanced System Configuration, Reporting & Integrations
  • Design and govern Costpoint extensibility solutions, system enhancements, and configuration standards
  • Ability to write queries and build reports using SQL, Cognos, or similar BI/reporting tools
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Costpoint integrations, APIs, middleware, and enterprise data flows

Compliance, Controls & Audit Leadership
  • Ensure ERP configurations and controls align with regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, DCAA, FAR)
  • Lead audit readiness activities, including documentation, evidence collection, and access control reviews
  • Establish and maintain SOPs, security standards, and system governance practices

Program Execution & Continuous Improvement
  • Lead Costpoint upgrade cycles, including planning, testing, validation, and stakeholder communication
  • Evaluate new Costpoint features and guide adoption strategies aligned with business priorities
  • Drive root-cause analysis of systemic issues and oversee long-term remediation efforts
  • Identify and champion automation and optimization opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience preferred
  • 12+ years of experience in business analysis, ERP system administration, or enterprise application leadership
  • 5+ years of experience of systems administration in a Deltek environment
  • 2+ Experience supporting Deltek Costpoint in a production environment
  • Extensive experience across Costpoint modules including finance, projects, HR, payroll, contracts, and materials
  • Strong understanding of business processes within government contracting or other highly regulated industries

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Shop Floor Time, TIP/QA, and/or RFGen
  • Deltek Costpoint certifications
  • Demonstrated experience supporting DCAA, FAR, and government audit requirements
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with analytics or BI platforms
  • Experience leading ERP initiatives, upgrades, or enterprise-wide process transformations

Pay may range from $160,000 to $175,000 annually
The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.
Base salary is one component of your total rewards package. You may be eligible for long-term incentives, potential discretionary bonuses, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discounted rate through the Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP). OSI also offers comprehensive benefits including various options for health plans, access to 401(k) retirement plan, health savings account, disability insurance, life insurance, AD&D insurance, leave of absence programs and an array of voluntary benefits.
