Job summary
The Senior Web Developer will lead the design and development of customer facing and internal interfaces to manager and monitor all services offered by TeleSign.
Job Responsibilities
  • The scope will include front-end (CSS/Javascript and AJAX/XHTML) and light back-end (Django, Python, Database and general server software).
  • Work with Program Managers to define UI's
  • We take quality seriously and you should expect to be involved in well written code bases following standards such as PEP-8 and good software engineering practices.

Job Requirements
  • 4+ years of proven track record working in web application environments.
  • Strong HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (including frameworks e.g., Jquery, Mootools, etc.)
  • Proven layout/UX design skills
  • Strong web application experience
  • Experience with both relational and/or NoSQL databases
  • Understanding of code best practices and standards. You will be required to follow PEP-8 style guide and use tools like Pylint very often
  • You should be familiar with Linux (we use Ubuntu and CentOS) and working directly on a server through SSH when required
  • Experience using version control software, Git is a plus
  • Exposure to Agile and SCRUM methodologies
  • Strong hands on experience with Python and Django is a plus
  • Easy going personality, You will actively participate in design discussions and code review
