Work You'll Do

As a Deloitte Tax Project Manager in the Tax Transformation Technology Team, you will drive the planning, delivery, governance, and reporting of key technology projects supporting Deloitte's tax strategy. You will coordinate with PMO and business stakeholders, ensuring consistent practices, transparent communications, and successful execution.

Project Planning & Coordination

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

    • Translate high-level requirements into actionable project deliverables.
Delivery Management
    • Oversee day-to-day execution, including timeline management, task tracking, and reporting.
    • Lead daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
    • Monitor critical project metrics-such as delivery milestones, budget adherence, and resource utilization-and escalate risks/issues as needed.
PMO Coordination & Governance
    • Ensure robust project tracking and reporting, preparing executive summaries, dashboards, and updates for leadership.
    • Support compliance with IT governance, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
    • Maintain documentation for audit readiness and organizational transparency.
Change Management & Project Adoption
    • Collaborating with business leads to delivering training, onboarding, and communications for new technologies or processes.
    • Guide teams through transitions and support user adoption for project outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills

Required:

  • Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 - 3 days per week.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years' project management experience, ideally with large-scale IT initiatives.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in PMO methodology, meeting facilitation, and conflict resolution.
  • Proven hands-on experience with cloud platforms and cybersecurity.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
  • One of the following active accreditations obtained:
    • Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA
