What will your typical day look like?

As a Senioir Project Management Analyst, Audit in Toronto or Calgary you will work with engagement teams to perform a wide range of transaction- and project management-related activities, including:

  • Supporting the integration of audit engagement processes with internal audit support processes (e.g., Milestones Program, billing, and RCQM).
  • Supporting the coordination of all stakeholders to deliver a consistent client experience, including specialists and component audit teams, as required.
  • Preparing client-facing documentation, including engagement letters and audit committee reports.
  • Managing and monitoring the receipt of deliverables from component teams, clients, and specialists, and following up on outstanding deliverables with Audit teams and specialized service lines.
  • Providing support for strategic analyses through data consolidation and analysis to develop data-driven recommendations.

Finally, you will demonstrate leadership and innovation by continuously improving processes, while supporting management through open communication and timely feedback.

About the team
As a Senior Project Management Analyst within the Project Management Support Network, you will provide support to Public Audit engagement teams by carrying out a variety of project management activities. The analyst works closely with engagement teams to perform specific project management tasks, is considered a fully integrated member of the engagement team, and is accountable to the Engagement Manager or Director for the completion of assigned responsibilities.

You bring the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and/or finance.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze information and develop recommendations based on collected data.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations and under tight deadlines in a constantly changing environment; capable of multitasking and prioritizing multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to synthesize information and present it in a clear and concise manner.

Qualification considered as an asset:

  • Bilingual English/French
  • Experience in audit

The salary range for this position is $59,000 - $97,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
