Position Summary: The director will design, develop and implement strategic Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, and recruiting programs throughout the organization. This key position collaborates closely with the director of Human Resources and will serve as chair of the existing DEIB Committee.
Responsibilities:
  • Chair DEI committee and oversee all activities associated with this committee
  • Possess a deep understanding of DEI principles. Design, develop, and implement strategic DEIB changes.
  • Manage all hiring platforms and work with hiring managers to assure all open positions are filled
  • Oversee recruiting activities through tabling, social media, and other creative endeavors
  • Utilize an applicant tracking system to assure all interested applicants are addressed
  • Increase volunteer and intern opportunities

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Education, Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred
  • Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement
Experience:
  • 1 year experience in targeted recruitment and DEI initiatives required
  • Driver's License and ability to maintain insurability throughout employment required.
